I was born and raised in Canada but have extensive experience living abroad in Asia, the Middle East, South America, and the Caribbean. I love travel, music, popular culture, and the arts.

 Hello, my name is Pawl. 
I am an Australian, native speaker, CELTA-qualified English teacher who has specific experience teaching Brazilians.
I utilize a communicative methodology (teaching through conversation) and try to keep the lesson context relevant to the student's interests and needs.
I have an extensive library of teaching materials including videos, listenings, articles, and exercises.

A little about my interests and experience...

 

I graduated in 1994 with a BA in Contemporary Music from the University of Southern Cross in Australia.

 

During the 90's I worked as a composer for TV, as well as a, being a bassist in several bands. After meeting a Brazilian lady whilst traveling, I found myself living in Campinas from 2000-2002 where I taught English for several schools including The Clinic of English and Expressão before returning to Australia.

 

In 2012, I returned to Brazil where I taught English for Pret-a-Parler in Campinas.

 

I have been living and teaching in São Paulo now for four years now. I really enjoy the Brazilian culture, its food and especially the people.

my name is Andrew and I am from the United States of America.

 

I was born in Michigan, but I have lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida, as well as other parts of the USA. 

 

I started teaching and living in São Paulo, Brazil in 1995. 

 

Since then, I have moved back and forth. Aside from teaching, I have worked in the IT area as a Project Manager. I also hold a BA in Business Administration from Anhanguera.

 

I like teaching very much and enjoy meeting people and making new acquaintances. I teach all levels and ages and customize the classes to different learning styles and goals.

Hello, my name is Lissy and I was born in Mumbai, India on 8th April 1967. I am an energetic and goal-focused education professional with solid qualifications in English Language Teaching. Hello, my name is Sheron and I hold a Portuguese/English Language degree specializing in Translation and Interpreting from the Ibero-Americana Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. I have been bilingual (English and Portuguese) since childhood and lived in London for two years, where I studied English language and literature. I hold a CPE – Certificate of Proficiency in English and TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language. I have also studied German at the Goethe Institute for five years, in São Paulo, and took a six-month course in Frankfurt, Germany. 

I have worked with teaching for around 20 years. For six years, I held the position of Coordinator at the Welsys Languages Institute of Learning. 

 

I have mainly taught courses aimed at enabling students to use their English in business, presentations, meetings, interviews, lectures, conference calls, business and tourist trips, TOEFL exam and Cambridge exams.

h) my availability for classes: Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00am to 6:30pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm; and, Fridays from 10:30am to 3:30pm/
 
j) minimum duration of each class: 1 hour.
