Hello,

My name is Lissy, and I am originally from India. I currently live in São Paulo, Brazil, where I provide English coaching for executives, professionals, and students at all levels. I also offer in-person individual and group classes at my classroom on Avenida Paulista, as well as online lessons for learners anywhere in the world.

I am a qualified, energetic, and passionate English trainer with over ten years of teaching experience. I hold two American TESOL certifications, specializing in Business English and English Grammar. My lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual goals, whether they want to improve their communication skills, prepare for meetings and presentations, advance their careers, or become more confident in everyday English.

My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking English from the very beginning. I take pride in helping learners build fluency and confidence through real-life communication and practical language application.

I graduated from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and later earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from the Datapro Institute of Technology. I began my professional career as a software developer, working with Microsoft BASIC and COBOL during the 1990s. This technical background gives me valuable insight into the communication needs of professionals working in IT and technology-related industries.

Throughout my career, I also gained extensive experience in Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Sales, and Corporate Training before transitioning into Human Resources. In 2010, I completed an MBA in Human Resources at the National Institute of Management while serving as General Manager of Human Resources for a private company.

With more than six years of experience as an HR Manager, I worked across all major HR functions, including recruitment, staffing, payroll, compensation, employee development, and training. I was recognized for aligning HR strategies with business objectives and supporting organizations in achieving their goals. This corporate experience allows me to understand the communication challenges faced by today's professionals and to provide highly relevant Business English coaching.
